Which massage should you book?

Four treatments sit under Signature Massages. The Traditional Balinese Massage is a full-body treatment using traditional Balinese techniques, and it runs at 60 or 90 minutes. Deep Tissue works at firmer pressure and is aimed at releasing muscle tension and improving mobility, at the same two lengths.

Aromatherapy Massage is the gentler one, with essential oils worked in through the movement. Where the problem is confined to one area, Back, Neck and Shoulder Relief stays on the upper back and takes 30 or 45 minutes instead of an hour.

How long does a treatment take?

Nothing on the menu runs past 90 minutes. The shortest slots are 30 minutes, which covers Foot Reflexology, the Foot Massage, the Foot Scrub and the short version of Back, Neck and Shoulder Relief. Most massages are booked at 60 or 90. The Signature Hair Spa is 60 and the Deluxe is 90. A 45 minute slot covers the Simple Pedicure, the wash and blow-dry, and the longer foot and shoulder treatments.

What do the foot treatments include?

There are four. Foot Reflexology draws on traditional reflexology and runs 30 or 60 minutes. The plain Foot Massage covers the feet and lower legs at 30 or 45 minutes, and the Foot Scrub is a 30 minute exfoliating salt scrub.

The Simple Pedicure takes 45 minutes. It includes nail shaping, cuticle care, a foot soak, a light foot massage and polish in OPI colours.

What happens in a hair spa treatment?

The Signature Hair Spa is 60 minutes and covers cleansing, a nourishing treatment, a scalp massage and a professional blow-dry. Hair Spa Deluxe stretches that to 90 minutes with a deeper treatment, a longer scalp massage, a nourishing mask, then blow-dry and styling.

There is also a 45 minute wash, blow-dry and styling with no treatment attached. The hair and body products used across the spa are natural ones it selects.

What is in the three packages?

Relax and Glow pairs a 60 minute Balinese Massage with the Signature Hair Spa, at IDR 690,000. Riviera Escape combines a 90 minute Aromatherapy Massage with the Hair Spa Deluxe, at IDR 990,000. The longest is the Ultimate Riviera Ritual, which adds a blow-dry and styling to a 90 minute Deep Tissue Massage and the Hair Spa Deluxe, at IDR 1,150,000.

Can you add anything to a treatment?

Yes. A 15 minute scalp massage and a 15 minute face massage are IDR 90,000 each. The hot stone upgrade is IDR 120,000. Upgrading the aromatherapy oil costs nothing.

Are the prices on this page final?
