Kumo serves dinner Tuesday to Sunday, 17.00 to 23.00, and is closed on Mondays. The room has 30 seats and serves up to 60 guests an evening across two sittings. The restaurant page does not list the sitting times, so ask which one is free when you message.
If neither of you wants to study a menu, Kumo serves omakase in Ubud at a counter with four seats facing the chef. The chef sets every course and you choose only the length: four, six, eight or ten moments. With four seats in all, a couple at the counter may share it with one other pair.
If you would rather sit across from each other, ask for a table. The tables take the steak house menu: one main from nine, served with a seasonal appetiser, the soup of the day, seasonal vegetables, one carb and one signature sauce.
Say so when you book. In a Google review on Kumo's profile from August 2026, two guests staying at Riviera described booking Kumo for their 20th wedding anniversary. They sat at the counter, and the kitchen closed the evening with a Happy Anniversary dessert.
That was one couple's evening, not a fixed offer, so ask the team what they can arrange for your date.
Kumo's menu lists ten signature cocktails, among them a KUMO G&T and a Smoked Peach Riviera, next to seven classics including the negroni and the old fashioned. If one of you is not drinking, there are six mocktails and five kombucha flavours.
To carry on after dinner, Riviera's cafe and lounge serves wine in the evening.
Riviera's spa and massage room is open every day from 9am to 9pm and books 60 and 90 minute treatments on WhatsApp, so a massage in the afternoon fits before an early sitting. It is in the same building as Kumo.
Guests staying in one of Riviera's 28 rooms, each set up for two, are already a short walk down the hall from dinner.
